Benaiah Matheson is more than your typical street wear brand. He is first and foremost an artist who emphasises on presenting style more so than 'fashion'. Rather than creating mass produced disposable pieces, Benaiah focuses on conceptual design and holds strong ethics of quality craftsmanship.

One of the most noticeable aspects of the brand are the graphic prints that are a very important part of his aesthetic identity, each of them have unique names and sources of inspiration, the most recognisable being his 'Mindmap' series.

The ready to wear clothing is mainly unisex street wear piecesbranching out into specific Menswear and Womenswearapparel. On the side of all this, he creates one off pieces that show areas he would like to delve further into, these unique pieces have a strong focus on concept and quality

It is due to the dedication to quality craftsmanship that these pieces are manufactured by hand in the uk, as an independent brand it is very important to Benaiah to support local communities whenever possible.

Established in 2010 after years of development, the brand and flagship store was set up in his home town of Huddersfield in the uk, where a lot of the clothing is produced.

Benaiah is driven by pure creativity derived from a growing sense of self, love which is the purest art and the world with all the good/bad issues in encompasses. The brands ideology is an amalgamation of 3 elements, Balance, Love & Consciousness.
